Teri has been instrumental in the design of our Oregon Horse Country, Oregon Horse Country Foundation, NW EquiBiz Conference, and High Desert Horse Expo branding. She has created timeless logos and marketing materials for all programs including 2 fantastic websites. We are proud to refer Teri anytime we can to other businesses and organizations.
Teri did a great job overhauling my law firm's old website. She updated the look, had useful suggestions to update the content, and proposed ideas to make it more user friendly. The number of inquiries from potential clients that I can directly trace to my website has increased. She has also been instrumental in helping me identify and target new sources of potential clients. I'm very pleased with her work, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced, thoughtful, and engaged designer!
Teri Levine / MC2Marketing did a great job on our website and continues to help us with our marketing needs. Teri's design style, willingness to listen to our needs and deliver in the time frame and bid price has been wonderful to experience in our new business. She always has great ideas and new information to share on marketing and ways to increase business. I recommended her and her company to anyone looking for that extra edge to make things beautiful and increase sales. Lynn Roberge ,
Teri designed my agency logo as well as our business cards, and did a phenomenal job. From start to finish she was prompt and efficient with getting proofs to me for review. We are extremely happy with the branding that we received with Teri's help. I would highly recommend MC2 Marketing and On Fire Websites for your design project!
From conception to completion, Teri was professional, on schedule and creative. She designed an interactive website that meets my needs. I heartily recommend her work and dedication.
PHP. We frequently develop very customized HTML / CMS WordPress websites and train the client in content management, so they can DIY. This delivers a stable well-supported website and a client can manage easily. I also do awesome customization of online templates for clients with very tight budgets.
My business is focused on small/mid size clients. I recently completed a website for a specialized law practice and am starting a new website for a lawyer group that provides diverse services. Also starting a website which includes an extensive member database and MANY forms.
Most important is your contract with a designer or developer. The majority of my clients have experienced problems because they did not know how to contract for services. They come to me to design it, build it, fix it or to redo everything because I will not disappear on them, I DO answer my phone. My contract clearly states all terms and clients OWN the domain name, design and code of custom sites - - that is not true with many designers/developers.
I own MC2 Marketing & On Fire Websites. I have been full time in this consulting/designing role since 2004, but also operated for several years prior to that.
I use Chrome, IE, Firefox and Opera to ensure my clients' websites and digital marketing are effectively presented.
My personal favorite is Facebook, but many of my clients hire me to integrate their marketing with social media. Depending on the client's product/service, geographic selling range, brand, and personal style, I tailor their social media marketing to best fit their business needs. I also tutor clients in managing and succeeding in social media.
I enjoy most business "starter packages." That would be developing their brand, identity, logo, website, basic social media, and whatever support marketing is appropriate - - usually it includes a couples ads or a brochure. I love helping them launch a new business or expanding their current market share.
As professionals, it is our responsibility to train our clients in contracting with us. Helping them understand what factors are critical, such as: site plan, how many design drafts are included, how many revisions are included, quote on page volume, who supplies content, what is the photo budget, etc. I don't see this as a problem - - just part of the job. The problem I most often encounter is that many people think they can provide content, but they are not writers or marketers. Content is king and it should be professionally developed.
No, I do not have a minimum budget. My rate varies on the project. Graphic design, website design/development and social media development is all the same rate, but I do give some "package" discounts when clients chose to do a menu of services. Full branding and marketing strategy support needs to be quoted.
I have a bachelor's degree from UCLA in Design. What they did not teach, I learned from mentors and on my own.
I have been a graphic designer my entire career, even while holding marketing management positions in Fortune 500 companies. I now focus my business on graphic and web design - my true passions. My unique background mix of marketing strategist and designer is a tremendous advantage for my clients. I bring more expertise and experience to each project than a traditional graphic designer or web developer.

Small business is called “small” for a reason. As its owner, most likely you don’t have a big budget to sponsor local events all year round. Back-End vs Front-End Programming You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, but you have to judge an app by its user interface. Bad UI can ruin an application. Poorly designed back-end code will also ruin an application. Even great UI can’t save an application that doesn’t function properly. ...Continue Reading
