Please tell us a bit about your background. How did you get started in design?

I started playing around in Photoshop about 15 years ago and guess what – I liked it. Of course I did, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this page :)

I call myself a graphic designer first and foremost, yet I have skills and passions in many areas of computing, internet, programming, design, usability and troubleshooting. Okay, I lied a little. I’m not passionate about troubleshooting but I seem to have a mind that’s tuned to that sort of thing.

How long have you been with your company?

15 years

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

I graduated as Jr. Programmer and then evolved into graphic design field by being passionate. I believe you can learn 1000% more if you love what you're doing then if you attend a school.

What web browser do you use?

Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

I use Facebook mostly, but I'm not a big fan of posting my life on Facebook

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

Challenging, creative, you have to apply different solutions to achieve the goal

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

Only do it if you love it!

What`s your favorite development language and why?

PHP - it's simple, intuitive and you can use it in multiple applications

Who is your typical client at the moment and what types of projects are you working on?

Clients can be active in any field. I'm mostly working on any print design and websites (corporate, e-commerce, magazines)

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

Write down your ideas and organize your thoughts first.

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

Write down your ideas and organize your thoughts first.

Do you use a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or any type of project management or proposal software?

No

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

Not really.
