How long have you been with your company?

Soda Pop Graphics has existed for over 10 years.

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

Our entire team is industry trained.

What web browser do you use?

We use all browsers. Cross browser functionality is important to check all of the websites we develop.

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

FaceBook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

It's fun. No project is ever boring!

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

You have to have thick skin. It's about the client, not about the designer.

What`s your favorite development language and why?

If you could only use one language, which one would it be?

What do you see as the most prominent emerging technology?

Continued development on responsive design.

Who is your typical client at the moment and what types of projects are you working on?

Our typical client is a small business (even though we service all size companies). We normally sell our small business package the most. It includes: logo, CMS website, business cards, brochure, domain purchase and web hosting for one year. Everything we do is custom.

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

I would advise our client to prepare to receive open communication from our team to theirs, and try to communicate as best as possible with us in return. Communication makes all projects a lot easier.

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

They are afraid to express their opinions about design and what they really want. In design and development, all things are possible! Just tell us what you want.

Do you use a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or any type of project management or proposal software?

What is your standard hourly rate?

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

It depends, normally they have to have at least $1000 for a web project, but smaller projects vary. It really depends if it's for business cards, brochures or web. We design it all!
