What is your standard hourly rate?

100

How long have you been with your company?

5 years.

What web browser do you use?

We prefer to use Chrome or Firefox.

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

Instagram seems to be the most beneficial to our clients in social media marketing and I use that myself. Facebook is also a good one as well and we have had good success with Facebook PPC campaigns.

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

We all enjoy helping someone grow their business by expanding their online impression.

Who is your typical client at the moment and what types of projects are you working on?

Our ideal and typical client is someone who has a complex development project. This can be a company looking for backend software, a complex online store, or even another design firm that needs help on the technical development of a website.

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

Be prepared and your project will run more smoothly. To prepare for your project you should have an outline of your pages and functions required, all graphics that you want to include on the website, content that you want to include on the website, and a marketing strategy. Of course we help guide our clients to the best solution and we may suggest changes to their ideas if they are open to it, but it is helpful for us to see what the client has in mind to start with.

Please tell us a bit about your background. How did you get started in design?

We have a small team who have been working on web projects for over 20 years. We all started in University and College.

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

All of our developers and designers have attended related courses at University. All staff have a minimum of 3 years experience and most have over 7 years.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

Give us a call, we might be able to help you out. We do sometimes take on trainee staff but only if they have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

What`s your favorite development language and why?

We use PHP because it is very common on the web. There are other equally good languages of course.

If you could only use one language, which one would it be?

We only use PHP actually. We have used ASP in the past and in the deeper past used C and Algol and Pascal !

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

Support and hand-holding tends to be a concern in these cases. We overcome this to some extent because the back-end admin we use is actually very easy to use.

Do you use a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or any type of project management or proposal software?

We use Teamworkpm for our project management platform. This helps us track all our projects and tasks efficiently.

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

Not really because we look upon each customer requirement as an individual case.
