This designer has created and maintained our site. He took on the project and delivered with spot on accuracy a beautiful, clean design. We recently had someone from MetroPCS corporate mention how are site was one of the best she has seen out of all of MetroPCS' Premier Retailers. I highly recommend Scott from BitBox.

Please tell us a bit about your background. How did you get started in design?

Started in design in 1984 designing logos for small businesses. Started programming for insurance companies at 16.
Computer and network design by 20. Web design since 1995.
In that time I also acquired professional audio and video editing skills and worked on commercials and music videos.

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

Self taught, with many great mentors along the way.

What web browser do you use?

Mostly Chrome. But I also use IE, Firefox, Opera, Maxthon and Safari.

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

Twitter

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

Working from home.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

Focus more on the clients target market than on what the website can do or how it will look.

What`s your favorite development language and why?

HTML and PHP

If you could only use one language, which one would it be?

HTML

What do you see as the most prominent emerging technology?

VR

Who is your typical client at the moment and what types of projects are you working on?

Small businesses.

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

Communication is key, feel free to ask anything. Please make sure to send any and all information needed for the project and be clear about what you need us to do. I also prefer deadlines or milestones so we stay on track.

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

Since I'm in my home office 12-14 hours per day, I'm normally very responsive, almost instant. The trouble I run into is that clients get very used to it, so when I can't be as responsive it can frustrate them.

Do you use a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or any type of project management or proposal software?

Invoice2go and Square

What is your standard hourly rate?

75

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

$500
