Please tell us a bit about your background. How did you get started in design?

We have been building websites and offering business consulting since 2005. As a serial entrepreneur it was important I started a business that connected me to as many other businesses as possible. Designing websites, logos and brands allows my general interest in business to flourish which allows us to deliver cutting edge solutions consistently.

How long have you been with your company?

We have been operating since 2005 and have adjusted our brand to ThinkLaunchGrow in 2014 from Unreal Media as we have the capabilities to offer a complete solution for our customers from start up to growth.

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

I personally was self taught but we now work with over 40 employees and contractors at any given time with a range of backgrounds. We specifically focus on great design and high quality coding in our hiring process and how they got there isn't on my mind.

What web browser do you use?

Only Chrome. Chrome is by far the best browser available.

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

Pinterest is by far the most productive social platform, followed by facebook and twitter for articles and news.

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

My favourite thing about this business is the range of people we get to work with all over the world. When hiring we focus on how good the person is and not so much on location. We work with entrepreneurs in a number of countries and industries which is great. Hearing a customer perspectives and goals while helping them achieve the best possible business route is what I live for.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

It is a very competitive industry you need to either be really good or really cheap. Really cheap is no sustainable so make sure you have an eye for design and try to pump out the best work you can!

What`s your favorite development language and why?

We work in a range of technologies and would have to say we are most experienced in PHP and Javascript.

If you could only use one language, which one would it be?

PHP as it can be used in our key areas of development.

What do you see as the most prominent emerging technology?

Oh....I could go on for days on emerging technology. There are many different solutions that are going to cause huge disruptions over the next while.

As for a game changer across the world I would need to say blockchain technology.

Who is your typical client at the moment and what types of projects are you working on?

We focus on web and application development projects in the medium to large business area. We have specific expertise in Dental, Oilfield, Education and E-commerce areas.

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

Have as much detail as possible for us to work with. The more we know about you and what you want the better results we can produce. Make sure you have time to take your project on so there is no delays in the process. If your building a website it can be the most important thing for your business if you give it some of your time.

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

Communication & Feeback.

There is a line here in the communication we need from a client. Good communication up front allows us to create the best possible solution.

Do you use a CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or any type of project management or proposal software?

We use a number of different software solutions to help us operate efficiently.

What is your standard hourly rate?

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

We like projects over $2500.00 as they allow time for planning. Anything under this budget is a rush job.
