Please tell us a bit about your background. How did you get started in design?

I did my graduation in commerce but I always had a curiosity to do some designing. Therefore, as soon as I completed my graduation I enrolled for a Masters degree in Computer Applications where I learned more about design and programming.

I landed my first job as an intern and got to know more about the designing standards and syntax which has helped me shape my career.

How long have you been with your company?

I've been associated for over 7 years with my company

Are you self taught or did you attend school for your industry?

I did my Masters in Computer Application where I learned more about designing and programming

What web browser do you use?

Since browser compatibility check is the most essential part for web design so I use all popular browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, Internet Explorer, etc.

What social media do you use for work and play? Do you have a favorite?

I use Facebook and Instagram for my off-the-work habits. i'm quite fond of instagram

What is your favorite thing about the type of work you do?

I get to see my creativity being appreciated not only by my clients but all the people using that site. I love the idea of thinking something new and put it on paper to see how it will look like

What advice would you give to someone looking to get into the web design field?

I would advice to have your basics clear. The first few months or the first year could be difficult but if the individual has good grasp on the basics than it is a much easier path

What`s your favorite development language and why?

Over the years I've gained a lot of experience in developing sites using PHP programming and I'd rate myself excellent as far as developing sites using PHP is concerned

If you could only use one language, which one would it be?

I'd always choose PHP as it has a huge role to play in helping me make a decision to become a programmer

What do you see as the most prominent emerging technology?

Based on the current trends I would say that Ruby on Rails and Laravel

What advice would you give a client in order to prepare for a new project?

I would only suggest that while comparing apples to apples, price should not be the only factor. Equal importance should be given to professionalism, time management, project management and meeting deadlines

What is the most common problem you deal with when working with new clients who do not have much experience with working with designers?

I've worked with a lot of people under similar circumstances and I'm confident that I will be able to address them easily.

Many clients tend to compare different vendors on the basis of price only. Although, there's nothing wrong with it and I fully support it but I would just recommend that each client should carefully check the deliverables he's getting for different prices.

What is your standard hourly rate?

12

Do you have a minimum budget for a new client?

$1,000
