This is a network of 360 websites with Single OsCommerce Setup.

 

Entire architecture for this network of websites has been designed by me only

 

As it is a single installation of OsCommerce that has been used across the websites, so layout across the network of websites had to be changed for every website. Because of this Layout change was one of the main tasks in this network building besides heavy customization and contribution adding.

 

Though it has a single admin panel for entire network and a single database, products for each website are different and can not be accessed on other website. I had to put good effort to do this in admin panel and to create multiple websites.

 

You can also see that articles differ on each website.

 

In additional features, it has single phpBB setup for all the websites, heavy customization has been done for this on phpBB. It has single username and password across the network of websites and single payment gateway integrations and so on.

This website is with multi lingual functionality and it caters to the need of South East Asia people. It has 6 steps resume upload facility and an extensive search. Jobs are posted by schools again in 5 steps. One step is a single form. Credits are required to post a job and download the resume. A Thai payment gateway has been integrated.

XML and Travel Website

This website was never launched. But this is the website where entire data is being fetched from the remote XML feed into the database and then database gets updated on regular intervals automatically, so heavy XML parsing work has been done on this website.

 

Using this XML feed, Hotels have been extracted, searched and displayed on the website on the basis of search criteria, searches of hotels in a particular city, booking of hotels, apartments, car hire, transfers etc.

 

I worked on this project for approximately 2 months but then it was abandoned by client because of lack of funds.

 

As XML was remote you can only review the forms that are there on the website. You will not be able to see much functionality though code is there.
