About Me: Big Tricks for Small Budgets: Ryan Graphics is an award-winning, independent design studio located in Portland, Oregon. Freelance graphic designer, Laurie Ryan-Day, is the owner of the studio. Carter. Logo design, corporate identity and product branding all provide opportunities for her to use her illustration skills, research and conceptual development skills. Creating graphics that help to propel the client's business forward is the heart and soul of graphic design and showcases a designer's truest, most valuable skills. Her design experiences include logo design, brand development, retail packaging, visual merchandising and marketing materials. She has extremely advanced skills with all of the Adobe design software. She has used InDesign since v.1, (1999), Illustrator since 1998 and Photoshop since 1996. She received an expert rating on InDesign from Aquent. Her skills in Illustrator always raise eyebrows from fellow colleagues. Laurie has a background in outstanding customer service relations, has professional work ethics, and has excellent problem-solving skills. In summary, she is a very organized individual, a self-starter and an overachiever. Ryan Graphics is located in Tualatin, Oregon (15 minutes south of Portland). The designer earned her graphic design degree in 2001 and has shared her skills with her freelance clients, Aquent, and other temporary assignments.
