I build websites that attract traffic and are profitable. However, there are several things that are out of my control and take time. For example, one major factor is getting listed in DMOZ.org's Open Directory Project (ODP) which is used by thousands of other directories including AOL Search, AltaVista, HotBot, Google, Lycos, Netscape Search.
Being listed in DMOZ's directory generates a good amount of traffic. However, once the other directories pick up your website, hundreds and even thousands of links to your website are created. Search engines love to see links to your website. More links = higher rankings = more traffic.
Since I create high-quality websites, I have never had a website rejected from DMOZ's directory. But getting in their directory takes time since each website is manually checked by a volunteer. It can take as long as six months or even more with an average of three months.
Therefore, to receive a refund, there are some requirements to be met. You must:
Wait six months after building your website to get it into DMOZ's directory and the major search engines.
Make a refund request between days 181-270 after your website was submitted to DMOZ and the major search engines.
