DQ News: How to Failproof Your Business, Episode 5: The Product/Service Snowball

Get Design Bids

One of the most common lines of questioning Dave and I get — when he’s not being questioned by the police, of course, because that’s totally different — is how to diversify income streams. Remember when everyone said they had a novel in them?

Now everyone’s got an ebook, and for good reason. People who sell products want to sell services, people who sell services want to sell products — life coaches, I’m talking to you — and people who aren’t selling anything yet are wandering around in a haze of conflicting advice. Sigh. Is this any way to spend time that could be perfectly wasted with a bottle of wine and Love Actually? I think not.

Over the last few days, Dave and I talked about the most important thing you need to do with your business, how to build a big list, what people don’t tell you about social proof and why standing up for yourself brings in the big bucks.

In today’s video, Dave and I talk about The Snowball. We teach you:

  • Moving into products from services (yay! passive income!)
  • Branching out into services from products
  • Using your services to sell your products (including a secret ingredient)
  • Using your products to sell your services (hint: big money here, darling)

We also talk about my personal favorite, a world-rockingly simple way to make $250 by tomorrow and get a product out the door NOW. (It involves a gun. That’s all I’m saying.)

I’m also told by my beta viewers that my riding pants are really hot. Oh, yes. I went there.

In other news, Dave’s Failproof Bundle is still stupid crazy cheap and is still stupid crazy awesome. Kind of like me, come to think of it.
