Flash Developer/Designer

I'm looking for someone who could work with us in our office for around 6 months.

Responsibilities

Working closely with a team of talented designers, developers, content producers, and strategists, the candidate will design and develop Flash applications and Web-based motion graphics within a creative and agile environment.

In addition to solid ActionScript 3.0 and 2.0 development skills, the position requires formal training in object-oriented programming and design patterns; solid understanding of XML, CSS and XHTML; and experience building database-driven Flash applications. Also, expertise in Adobe Photoshop, great attention to detail in design adaptation, and experience with quality assurance practices are essential for this position.

Qualifications

· 2-5 experience building Flash sites/applications

· Proficiency with Adobe CS4 / ActionScript versions 3.0 and 2.0

· Experience with .Net Web Services

· Code expertise in PHP, .NET, and JavaScript

· Clean, modular coding practices

· Strong skills building XML/database driven sites and applications

· Ability to create dynamic, code-driven animation

· Sound understanding of motion design/animation techniques

· Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks and additional Adobe CS knowledge for production and graphic preparation

· Strong portfolio showing skills in user experience, motion design and programming

· Ability to work with limited supervision and deliver a creative approach to issue resolution

Additional skills:

· Collaborate well with visual designers and engineers to conceive and prototype interaction models, information architectures, and user interfaces

· Experience working on agency teams of any size

· An ability to be communicative, flexible and precise under aggressive deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills

· Strong organizational skills and a specific attention to detail

· Experience with progressive and streaming Flash video

· Candidates with Adobe ActionScript Designer and/or Developer Certification strongly desired
